I’m ACHARYA Kishor, a physicist and complexity scientist from Nepal, currently based in Palma, Spain. I work as a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute for Cross-Disciplinary Physics and Complex Systems (IFISC), where I study information dynamics, complex networks, and emergent behaviors using approaches rooted in physics and information theory.
My academic journey — shaped by experiences in Nepal, France, Luxembourg, Estonia, and Spain — reflects a deep curiosity about how complex patterns emerge from simple interactions.
I hold a background in physics with academic experiences across Europe and Nepal:
My research has evolved from plasma physics and computational fluid dynamics to the study of network science, complexity theory, and information dynamics.
Teaching has been an integral part of my academic life, offering the chance to share knowledge while learning from students. I have taught and mentored across various institutions and levels:
I believe in fostering curiosity, critical thinking, and active engagement both inside and outside the classroom.
Science, for me, extends beyond academic circles. I enjoy sharing ideas through talks, writing, and creative media — including my YouTube channel and blog articles. I communicate fluently in English, Nepali, and Hindi, with conversational French and beginner-level Spanish.
This website is a space where I share research insights, reflections, blog posts, and science communication projects. Explore, connect, and join me on this journey through physics, complexity, and the art of making sense of our world.
